Staci is a licensed professional counselor in Texas. She received her master’s degree in counseling from Texas Woman’s University in 2020. She provides individual virtual counseling to teens and adults. She completed her masters-level internship at Changes Outpatient of Frisco, an intensive outpatient treatment program for adolescents, where she led group therapy focused on topics such as self-esteem, family dynamics, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.
Staci utilizes a person-centered approach to therapy with a strong focus on emotions, relationships, and self-esteem. In sessions Staci provides a safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be expressed without fear of judgment. Therapy will assist clients in recognizing emotions, noticing behavior patterns, learning coping skills, improving communication, and increasing confidence.
Staci completed level 1 training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in March 2022. She is currently training level 1 in Internal Family Systems (IFS) to be completed in August 2025. These two frameworks work well with complex trauma and are often effective for clients who have not been helped by other types of therapy.
Staci’s goals for sessions are to help the client feel informed, prepared, secure, supported, and in-control of their therapy experience. She is a queer, trans, and lifestyle affirming therapist.
Outside of the therapy world, Staci enjoys listening to podcasts, playing video games, hiking, collecting fountain pens, and cuddling with her two spoiled dogs.
